Keep Your Head High

Authors Note: This is a piece i wrote about keeping your head up high when in problems and always have fun.
Whenever you read a book you will always find a hidden message.
Every single book you read is going to have some kind of hidden message whether it’s to let go and have fun sometimes or be yourself not somebody you want to be. You should listen to these messages; they might help you more than you think. In my book, Sideways Glory, the author teaches people take risks and enjoy yourself and when you’re going through tough times keep you head high.
The Main character, kennin, is going through some tough times with his sister and racing. In the first chapter, he was drag racing when his right wheel rim breaks and sends him and his car flying in the air. Ever since then he has not been the same. He had been acting angry and not wanting to confront with people.
In the beginning he was very uptight about his stuff. He didn’t really like talking to anybody and kept to himself. Kennin was always angry and usually just on the race track, perfecting his drifts. Throughout the story, he becomes more open and less aggressive. With everything going on whether it’s his sister or Jack; it’s changing him for the good.
After he Confronts people like jack, he seems calmer and starts to have fun. Whatever it is he is doing, he is starting to have a good attitude towards everything. When people used to make a joke about him he got mad, but now he laughs with his friends. He learned that he had to laugh at himself and you have to not get mad at everything otherwise nothing will seem fun.
As Kennin went through hard times, he never really just gave up and sat there. No matter what, he kept pushing through. Lastly, always remember to have fun, no matter what the situation is. It will all get better In time.
