Patriot Pride

Authors Note: This essay tells readers how I feel about veterans.:

            Did you know about 66% of the soldiers from the Vietnam War were drafted?  That is a very big amount. These soldiers weren’t the smartest but they sure had heart. To go out into another country and say “alright lets go” is a very hard thing to do. All these men and women that are patriots are the strongest people not just physically but mentally.

            The American soldiers have fought many, many wars for us.

They are the reason we feel save to this day. They won the Vietnam and the American Revolution which won us our freedom. All of America thanks our soldiers and patriots for that.

            All the money that our country has also has helped us with our Army and patriots. We have the money to buy new weapons and supplies of any kind. Without this type of money we probably wouldn’t even be half as good as how we are today. We can buy all the weapons and vehicles we need.

            Our Patriots and Army have also captured many of the most wanted terrorists in the world. For example, Osama bin Laden. Since 9/11 of 2001 we have been on the hunt for this crazed menace but could not seem possible. Not until this year that we finally caught Osama. We have a very good intelligence team that helped figure out his location and such. This is also another way of proving we are a very strong defensive country.

            The strongest physically and mental people ever are out Patriots. They have been here in thick & thin. Just imagine where we would be without them. We wouldn't have half a successful country as we do now. Everything we have now is thanks to our fellow Patriots. Never will they be forgotten in this nation.
