Conflict/Resolution
In the story, The Fighter, A family is faced through poverty and a lot of criticism.
I takes place in the 1933-1945 time frame which means the Germans were
searching for all the Jews to kill and make them work in concentration camps. They
lived in Warsaw and everybody was mean to them, the village they lived in was
just a big ball of ignorant people. They moved to Paris thinking it would be safer
but then the youngest of the family, Moshe, was found and sent to concentration
camps. The soldiers were oblivious and were ruthless. Moshe was not only being
physically damaged but mentally too.
Him was being faced
with Person vs Society conflict because
in Warsaw because nobody liked him along
with his family. That got resolved by them moving to Paris and getting closer
to their kind. He was also faced with Person vs Person because he constantly
had argument with the soldiers there. Dumb reasons some may say but the
soldiers picked the fights. That got resolved by him staying away from the
soldiers as much as he could do they had no reason to criticize him. The last
conflict was Person vs self. He
constantly battled himself not to just go insane and attack the guards which
would get him sent to the gas chambers. He was also scarred from seeing many
people get shot from blank point in the head. He went a little crazy but every
night he tried to forget such things. He thought of his family and other things
to get his mind in the right place again. That is how those conflicts got
resolved.
