Life Changing Hit

Writers Note: This writing piece is explaining the cause and effect of something that started off as something small.

In the boxing world, two very competitive and outspoken fighters are about to go head to head in the ring and I mean that I little bit too literal. Floyd Mayweather agreed to the fight with Victor Ortiz and soon they would determine who the better fighter was. They both trained their butts off but with one incident in the ring the whole story changed dramatically. The Climax of this fight is that Ortiz lost his temper, accusing Mayweather of elbowing and took it into his own hands and head butt Mayweather in the chin. After that incident, as Ortiz was apologizing, he dropped his hands and Mayweather popped him twice in the face which resulted in a KO (Knock out).

First off, I believe Leonard Ellerbe, Floyd’s advisor, decided to take the fight. An end result and effect with this fight is that Victor learns to always fight fairly and to protect himself at all times. I also believe that Floyd took with fight because, Floyd loves money. After all, He nickname is “Money”  and he wasn’t about to pass up a 40 million dollar fight! It would be absolutely absurd if he passed this fight up. Also, Floyd is 35 years old, and is starting to go downhill so I believe he wants the money before he says good bye to the sport.

In conclusion, the littlest things can change the whole story and make it into a story which you would never think would have happened. If this event didn’t happen, All the fans would have been happier about getting a longer more exciting fight. After all it did only last 4 rounds. Also Ortiz would have had an actual chance of winning! He was tied up on the score cards and with him apologizing he dropped his hands. If he wouldn’t have head butted, he wouldn’t have been criticized about that and Floyd wouldn’t be criticized for hitting Ortiz When he wasn’t ready at all. This just proves how one little event, can change all of life’s course.
