                                                                Freedom At Its Best

Would the United states of America have been better today if women made the first amendments? The reality is that men did the first amendments and  that has made us one of the best run countries in the world. It could have perhaps been better if women would have been involved, but obviously we were far from women having any major rights. None the less, nobody can deny that as  country, were are in the top five in the world. Once a year It’s a great idea to write and thank the originators and the men, who made up the foundation of our country today.

First off, they gave us the freedom of speech. Words cannot explain how content this makes me. We can speak out in anything we think is wrong or should just be changed. If we don’t like the way a district is being run, you can speak up and possibly get what you want changed without getting penalized. We have word in what we want. We get to vote for president which is also freedom of speech in a way, because you can talk about why you think a certain person should win and it might change other people’s minds. This takes me to my next topic which is freedom of the press.

Everybody has the right to gather, publish, and distribute information and ideas without government restriction. If we didn’t have this freedom, our whole country would be quite dull. We wouldn’t have all those crazy gossip magazines that many teens buy which generate lot of money. Second, we wouldn’t have those hilarious all lie shows, like TMZ  come on and say all these ridiculous out of the box things. Accusing Justin Bieber of having a new lady has been brought up many times and almost every time is a lie, but that is show biz and it sells very well.

Believe in god or not, you will not get a punishment. We have the freedom to choose what we want to practice and there is nothing that can stop us from that. In the past, such as 1692,  the  Salem witch trial days, all people were forced to be puritan and go to church every day, If not you would be an outcast and the town would think you were some kind of witch. That is certainly not the cast in the 21st century. It doesn’t matter whether you’re Catholic, Christian, Jewish because at the end of the day, we are all human. Believing in something should not stop us from making people outside of our religion.

In all, just look at all the rights we are given and you will truly be grateful. Without most of these amendments, our country would be a totally different world! If these men were to come back to life I would give them a pat on the back, a big 10 minute bear hug that would practically squeeze their guts out and I would take them to Wisconsin Dells. Everything they have done I might as well give something back.
